Christopher Lukert

  
  Christopher Lukert was born in Canada 
and raised in England and has been playing guitar and bass in the Phoenix area since the 70's. He  has toured with many well known rock and country rock bands. In the 80's, Christopher  made a living as a local studio musician and  eventually opened his own studio.. His first  recording, "More Than Dreams," was  played on College radio stations for several  years. His second release,
"Midi Life Crisis,"  has sold well at local stores.

 


Dennis "Deke" Kennedy has been playing drums in various bands since the 70's. He has supported large ensemble jazz, pop, funk, corporate and private function bands to stripped down rock, country and blues club acts. He has been influenced by a litany of great drummers ranging from the innovative pioneers Rich and Bellson to modern fusion greats like Dave Weckl.

Ray


   Ray Lucero
is a native born Arizonan. He has been playing bass since the late 70's. In his musical career he has covered the gamut of styles; from Rock, Disco, Jazz, Blues and Latin Funk. He also plays with a Soca Soul Calypso band, The Caribbean Cruisers and with a Reggae band, Grantman & the Island Beat. Ray appreciates the fact that in the Chris Lukert band he can stretch out and use diverse techniques and soloing styles on the many interesting basses he’s collected.

 


  John “Johnny Mac” McMonagle received a Bachelor of Music from A.S.U. majoring in Jazz performance. Since then he has been playing and teaching around the Valley for the better party of a decade. Currently with many local acts such as Chris Lukert band, Extra Ticket, Endoplasmic, Just Add Water, Sonorus, and the Party Crashers.

Mark


  Mark Lanus plays saxophones, flutes, and piano. He earned a Bachelor of Music from the University of North Texas and a Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from Arizona State University.  Mark plays, writes, and arranges Jazz, Latin, Irish, Rock, Reggae and other forms of popular music.  Mark has performed with Teddy Pendergrass, The Spinners, The Mills Brothers, Victor Mendoza, Ralphie Chavarria, George Corea Jr. and Sr., Hank Arroyo, the Caribbean Cruisers, The Brazen Heads and is currently working with The Chris Lukert Band.  Mark is currently studying Studio Recording Engineering and setting up a project recording studio.
